One of My Havens

As I have mentioned in my About page I love photography!  I thought every now and then I will share some of my pictures that would relate back to this blog and what is going on in my life right now.  First of all the picture that is the heading of my blog is in Key West at the Bahia Honda State Park. This place is absolutely breathtaking and is one of my favorite places to be.

Since my blog is called “A Bookworms Haven”  I thought I for my first photo I would share one of my favorite places to read or to just get away!  I love this bench area because is right off the path, but you feel like there is nothing else around because of all the trees surrounding it.   There are also birds everywhere!!  The chirping is soothing and it reminds me that I am outside, but is also not to much of a distraction from my reading.   I also like the sculpture, it is supposed to represent two people dancing, I just love how simplistic it is and how beautiful.  I go to this spot often to read or just relax.

  1. I just came by to say “Hi!” The Book Lady sent me. Isn’t she awesome?

Your blog looks lovely. Come visit mine if you have a chance 🙂

  2. Welcome to the blogging world. So glad The Book Lady encouraged you. I read and post a weekly photograph, so I’ll find lots to grab my attention here.

  3. Hi, Meaghan! The Book Lady sent me! This bench reminds of of the scene at the end of Notting Hill where Hugh Grant is reading on a bench in a park with Julia Roberts lounging on top of me. I’m picturing me reading and Hugh Grant snuggled up in my lap!
