I am currently riding the train home from NYC and I am exhausted!! I think the best two words to sum up my experience in NYC are: Sensory Overload! This was my first trip to BEA and I think I underestimated the amount of books I was going to get at this event. I know, I know, I read on all the experienced bloggers sites how you get tons of books, but I naively thought “I really won’t get that many books,”…yeah right! I have bruises on my shoulders from carrying the books I got each day! Now, this is not a bad problem, I am extremely happy, just really worn out! I put up the picture to show you how big the place was where BEA was held, so picture that place filled with books! It was so cool!
I thought I would get to posting this week, but I literally went from 6:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night every day, and by the time I got back to where I was staying I was just too tired to do anything but sleep. As a result I have been neglecting my blog, so sorry for the lack of content this week. Thank goodness this is a long weekend because I plan on spending tonight and tomorrow sorting through all my books and all of the cards from the great people I met this week! Therefore I will have new posts up shortly and I will recount my week in NYC at BEA and the Book Blooger Convention! So check back soon 🙂
