2010 Debut Author Challenge

I was looking through blogs today and noticed the 2010 Debut Author Challenge and it sounded really interesting so I have decided to join in. Once I actually scrolled through the titles a lot of the authors that are debuting this year I am already planning on reading their books so joining in makes sense. For the challenge you have to read at least 12 books that fit the criteria ( and I am probably going to read more) as I go I will add to the list. As I go through the challenge I will put a link to my review of that book. Here are the books I hope to read for the challenge:

1. Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus

2. 13 to Life: A Werewolf’s Tale by Shannon Delany

3. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

4. Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers

5. Other by Karen Kincy

6.  Claire de Lune by Christine Johnson

7. Nevermore by Kelly Creagh

8. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

9. Angel Star by Jennifer Murgia

10. The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

11. Matched by Ally Condie

12.  Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready

I am really excited to get started with this challenge :) If you want to join in just head over to The Story Siren to learn more. I will keep the button for this challenge on my sidebar so check on it periodically to see my progress!

  1. Sisters Red is actually Jackson’s second novel, so it’s not a debut. Hers was last September with As You Wish.

Shadow Hills is AWESOME! I hope you love it too! I’m very excited for The Iron Thorn and Nevermore too. Did you get a copy of The Replacement at BEA? I should’ve grabbed you one if you didn’t.

Anyway, all those titles look great! I’ve got a few in my TBR pile, so I’m very excited to read those!
