In My Mailbox

Hello Sunday 🙂  With your arrival comes this weeks addition of In My Mailbox, hosted by The Story Siren.  This week I did not get any new books to review (although I have some on the way that I am crazy excited about), but I did buy three books that are sweet.  The books are: The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare.

They are gorgeous aren’t they?  Last week Kristi from The Story Siren was showing off the ones she bought and I fell in love with them so I bought some for myself.  They are part of The Barnes and Noble Leather Bound Classics.  They are absolutely beautiful!  I am actually thinking of getting a couple more because they are so cool.  Anyway, I have linked to the pages where you can find these on the B&N website here.  There is a sale right now where if you buy 2 your get 1 free 🙂  You should go check it out.  So what did you get this week that you are excited about?

  1. So pretty, and HUGE! 🙂

  2. I love the look of leather bound books, they look like something that could of been handed down for generations. I’m definitely going to get “The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe”. Thanks, I’ve been looking for a edition like this.

I got Jandy Nelson’s “The Sky Is Everywhere“. I haven’t read the book yet, but I can already say that it’s my favourite book aesthetically. I’ve only seen this much thought go into the design with collectors editions.

  3. Love this set of books, and I wished we had a Barnes and Noble here in Canada. Will have to see if I can order Edgar Allan Poe via internet order from them.

Beautiful set and very envious of them too.
