Saturday Snapshot – Hawk

Saturday Snapshot is hosted over at At Home with Books and is just people sharing a photo they have taken and telling a little about it. This series of photos I took one day when I was walking through one of my favorite parks. I found this little guy hanging out in the tree and took a couple pictures of him. The first is when I first spotted him.

The next one is when he started talking to me while I was taking his picture.

And finally he is cleaning up for me so he looks perfect in the pictures, lol. Or that is what I think he is doing.

So what do you think? I liked my little friend, but every time I have been back to that place I have never spotted him again. At least I caught him on camera so I can look back. :) How about you guys? Anyone else have a Saturday Snapshot to share?

  1. Great shots! They’re really elusive around here. I sometimes see them but never long enough to get a picture.

  10. That’s a beautiful bird. I think he was looking for a meal. I have a hawk that likes to hang out in the tree near my feeders as if they were a buffet of little birds just for his choosing.
