Saturday Snapshot – Beach Sunset

Saturday Snapshot is hosted over at At Home with Books and is just people sharing a photo they have taken and telling a little about it.  Today I have a picture of a sunset from the beach.  I loved the color of the sky and the silhouette of the people up on the sand dune.  It is not the best quality because there is a glare, but I actually kinda like the imperfection of it.

So what do you think? Do you mind glare in your pictures of sunrises or sunsets?  Or do you have a Saturday Snapshot to share?

  1. Yes, I think the glare adds a nice touch in your photo.

  2. Have glares (or glows as I prefer to think of them) sometimes adds a little something extra to the shot. As it does here! Lovely photo!

  3. I think that’s really beautiful – it is very effective, and the colour and silhouette are lovely. My Snapshot is at

  4. I think it’s a fabulous picture! A little bit of distortion makes it more real and interesting.

  5. Sometimes glare can be an unexpected bonus. In that photo it makes me think of sunset on the Sahara desert like in the movies.

  6. What a gorgeous photo! No, I think the glare is perfect – it emphasizes the sunset. Love it.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend –

  7. Really beautiful … I honestly think the glare and the sun diffused through those high clouds make the picture perfect …

  8. I’m good with this glare too, lovely shot.
