Before I start gushing about my book today for Waiting on Wednesday, I want to thank Jill from Breaking the Spine for hosting this event every week. Okay onto the book. The book I want to feature this week is The Darkest Seduction by Gena Showalter. This series is one I MUST have when it hits the shelves. It is the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter and this book centers around PARIS! I have loved him from the beginning and am so excited that he finally gets his own book. Here is a summary to get you psyched up like me!

So exciting right? I am so glad Gena kept Sienna as his heroine. I was afraid she was going to switch it up, but ever since the two of them met in a previous book I was hoping it would work out for them. Now that she is host to a demon herself it hopefully will! Yay! And what do you think of the cover? First time one of the heroines has been on there too. I think it works because she has a demon as well and we have seen so much of her in previous books. The book does not come out until February, but Gena just put up the cover and I wanted to share. How about you? Are you just as excited to read this book as I am or is there something else you are waiting on?

Before I get started I want to thank Breaking the Spine for hosting this event every week.  Thank you.  :)  Today, I am waiting on a book that is the third in a series I just recently found.  The book is Inferno’s Kiss by Monica Burns and releases this October.  I really enjoyed the first two books, if you want to look into them the first book is called Assassin’s Honor (review here) and the second is Assassin’s Heart (review here).  This series follows a group of people called Sicari who are fighting to save and rid the world of their mortal enimies the Praetorians and finding love along the way.  The most interesting part of these books to me is the mythology behind them.  It is something I have not seen explored before in paranormal romance and I love getting to learn about a whole new group of people and their fascinating history.  Here is a summary of the book from Goodreads.com:

I have been so busy with getting back to work these past two weeks, I have not had much time to spend on my blog and I have hated every minute of it.  I love being here and communicating with fellow readers, bloggers and authors and not being able to be online much lately has been killing me.  Now that the first week is under my belt, I am going to try and get back in the swing of things with my blog and reading in general.  First up, is to talk about a book I am really looking forward to for Waiting on Wednesday this week.  I first have to thank Breaking the Spine for hosting this event every week.  :)  The book I am going to talk about this week is Bloodright by Karin Tabke.  This is the second book in her Blood Moon Trilogy and I am dying to get my hands on it!  I read the first book, Blood Law earlier this year and absolutely fell in love with this world.  If you are not familiar with these books let me give you a summary of Bloodright from Goodreads:

I gush about this book with one of my friends almost every single time I talk to her.  We both loved the first one and thinking February is way too far away!  For now, we are just going to have to continue to chat about it in hopes it holds us over until the release date.
